Matt H
Lets hope Grays do well in the FA competitions then, cause it sounds like we get a share of the prize money if Boylan performs well.

Ribbit
Let's just hope we don't play them then. Unlikely, but I'd hate to see Lee score against us.

eggy
the deal has been done between Jeff King and Grays Athletic.. Canvey FC will make no money out of this transfer, any money made will go to Jeff King as Lee Boylan is contracted to Jeff.. This is pretty obvious

This is pretty obvious so much for a new era of transparency. we dont expect to know all the details, BUT who has paid the wages for Lee for the last two weeks? obviously no signing on fee was paid,at least to the club, however what about this performance related payment mentioned by the Grays manager? again, dont expect to be told any details, just who would recieve it. i now wait for certain people to jump on my case for having the nerve to ask what most canvey fans want to know. ronin
Obvious? maybe but not offical and no offence Eggy but you have not exactly been 100% with your previous info
Benny
Its not obvious. I personally dont see how a player can be contracted to an individual instead of a club. I think you may have been watching too much of Dream Team and Footballers Wives Eggy!!

eggy
What i am trying to say is that our Club could not have afford to pay Boylan's wages over the last few weeks, that is simply not posible, so who was? There can only be one person that has! Mr Jeff King.. So this must mean that the player is contracted to him or his companies.. So any transfer dealings / Money would have been between Grays Ath and Jeff King Canvey island as a club have had no dealing in the transfer nor will they make any money from it in the future.. All money made from the Boylan transfer will go the Mr Jeff King.. What do you reckon?
ronin
I think you are correct Eggy but unless you are able to pick up this info from gossip at the club the average fan would be totally in the dark about what`s going on regarding this transfer.
