Weekly Donations To The Playing Budget

In the hope that this will help the club find and attract a better calibre of player to Slough, please respond in this thread if you would be willing to contribute a weekly amount, and the amount you would be able to contribute, into the playing budget for the club.

 

I will point the club to this thread and try to keep a running total at the bottom of this post.

Sorry, I didn't spot this thread before I made a comment on the Jarvis one.

 

I already pay a monthly amount to the STST but I'd be willing to up my contribution to the Barmy Army pot to £10 at each home game.

So you agree with yourself. Well done. It's an idea put forward to help the club out if they so require it. Other clubs have done this successfully, so thought I'd see what sort of interest we could raise.

aren't u lot being a bit stupid! Jarvo has joined your 'club - end of! Its up to the manager and the board who he wants to bring in, so just got on with it without moaning for once!

also have to agree and dispute the point of this, surely it will just disappear into the accounts and could be spent on anything. also agree that nothing will get in eddies way when it comes to signings so we all just need to get behind him and the team no matter what.

Admission prices, buying a programme, raffle tickets etc all contributes to the players wages, which is really important for a club with no ground. This is just targetted sponsorship. I know Brighton supporters have done a similar thing before.

Yes there are more important things in life, but

if you don't like it, don't contribute - end of.

Can I just say that Aidan's and my donation is nothing to do with Jamie Jarvis, it is purely to help the club if the need arises.
