Be nice to get out again on a Saturday! It seems to have been a long time without it (footie).

Seriously need a good shout and sing song as well as that booze.

But the main reason is to get behind the lads and give them all the support they deserve.

preseason is OK, but roll on the 19th.

Pretty gutted - seems like I've been waiting an age but my son has an all day goal keepers coaching course so I'm not going to be able to make it. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

 

Anyone hear any rumours about what sort of squad we may put out? Will it be made up of a majority of potential first teamers or are we going to be giving the opportunity to mainly trialists?

I`d guess we will be putting out our strongest side to start with and then bringing on any trialists we have during the course of the game, but only John Batch knows for sure.

 

Billericay will be a tough game but i hope no matter what the score (win or lose) people don`t see that as a sign for the rest of the season, it`s only a friendly ater all.

Totally right Ronin. Browsing around these various Club forums on here and others elsewhere it seems that the majority of fans are forgetting what the friendlies are all about - Getting a chance to study all our players in action, find their strenghts, weaknesses, how they perform with each other etc. The scoreline is irrelivant until August 19th.
