I got some good pictures of a thistle that is growing by the fence. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Well if you missed this one you missed a mediocre result!

John, Campbell, Nyman, Gant, Tickner, Magona, Velandia, Black, Crace, Hammatt, Smith, Ritchie, Hughes, Harrison, Hunt

Well the game started well for Town with Dean Nyman running Braham ragged inside and out. Lovely solo run from Steve Velandia for Michael Black to chip the keeper and the bar. Dean Nyman had a shot which the keeper saved with his legs without much of a clue as where it was. Aveley were opening town up at the back with great ease and if they were a bit better organised should have capitalised on it. Jerome John saved the ball off the top of a header. Michael Black had another solo run down the left wing and crossed for Dean Nyman to have the shot saved. Adam Gant tackling back crucially. Paul Campbell and Dean Nyman crossed over but to not much avail. Steve Velandia saved off the line. A Paul Campbell solo effort saved.

Second half Adam Gant replaced by Harrison after the physio had given him some attention. Bryan Hammatt header to keeper. Dean Nyman booked for verbal after an altercation with Craig Braham. Ricci Crace off and Neil Hughes on. Neil Hughes was soon in on the action with a waist height flying header. Bryan Hammatt had a solo effort sail past the post. Neil Hughes run and pass for Lee Smith to shoot just wide. Lee Smith shot wide again. Michael Black replaced by Niall Ritchie.

Most of the excitement was had before the match with town fans studying the £8 entrance fee information poster on the gate most carefully.
