Thanet - Red or Blue

For many years we have had to put up with your smugness about being above the RAMS, being so much better, well are you?

Is it not time for you blue noses to accept your management and team ain't that good. Perhaps when you do you can start to rebuild a club and team that can actually go somewhere other than the downward spiral you have been on recently.

Stop moaning do something about it!

Meanwhile we on the red side will enjoy our success while looking down at you at last! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bounce.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

MUST ADMIT SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT. WE HAVE THE PLAYERS A GREAT GOALIE OUR GROUND IS GOOD .THAT JUST LEAVES ONE PERSON,I THINK WE ARE CHANGING OUR TEAM AROUND TO MUCH NOT LETTING THEM GEL ENOUGH(THAT CAME FROM A TEAM MEMBER HIM SELF)IF WE DONT TURN THIS AROUND SOON WE ARE GOING TO BE A LAUGHING STOCK,AND START TO LOSE GATE RECIEPTS.IT PAINS VERY MUCH INDEED AND THAT GOES FOR A LOT OF FANS.SO IN ANSWER TO YOUR COMMENT, YOUR RIGHT IM AFFRAID WE HAVE GOT TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT AND QUICK.

Fully agree GeeBee. 2 points from 15 and 2 wins in 9 games ( and them against lower league opposition who outplayed us for most of the game ) is relegation form and form that would put a managers job on the line. The management don't know whether they're coming or going-chopping and changing the team, falling out with players constantly. Whose idea was it ( I think we know ) to have an "untried and untested player manager". That was madness. Look how Kinnears loyalty was rewarded, the farce with the ground ( still ongoing ) I'm beginning to lose the faith.

And before the "give Trotty a chance brigade" come on here having a go at me-well he's having his chance right now and as far as I'm concerned he's not taking it.

And as for them w*nkers Rob and LeedsClice are concerned-I even think they have a perfect right to be smug right now.

Hornet the despondant.

I think being at Billericay last night and seeing how much the lads all wanted to win, how much they played as a team and how much it hurt to lose made me part of the Trotty brigade and proud of it. I'll be there next week and the week after and as long as the team can show me the sort of effort as they did last night they will get my support. I do agree that it would be better to try and keep the same lineup though. Oates played himself into the team last night with a good performance. Problem is though, we have had a few injuries such as Hockton, Skinner, Jackson, Abbott that have hit us lately and even now I think one or two are just getting back to fitness. Think Jacko is playing through the pain barrier at times as well. He's so important we can't afford to leave him out (though maybe we can for an FA Trophy game)

On the subject of Ramsgate I'm in agreement with CE. They have been an irrelevance for years, doing nothing and being pretty much invisible.

Great to hear GW if the lads show that effort then surely most fans will get behind them and hopefully things will start going our way. I can only see a bright future for the club with the reserves and Under 18's doing so well in their first season.

Most Margate fans have no problem with the Rams and some go to watch games at Southwood. Stop being so bitter and sour and just enjoy your success while it lasts.

I think thats right and most people in Thanet who care about either club want both to do well.
Its only a very small number of people who support one and want the other to lose.
Ramsgate have come from nowhere and good luck to them.Hopefully people at Margate will have learnt something from the success that Ramsgate have had with a much smaller budget.

The league doesn't lie, but on paper we are so much better then Ramsgate and so are half of the teams in the Ryman premier. The fact is that Ramsgate have players that want to play for them (notice the 2 players from out of the area left very early) and our players do want to play for us but not as much. As soon as Ramsgate go on a big losing streak then their players will lose believability and will get worse (thats if they do). I aint embarrased that Ramsgate are above us, because they have started well and between now and February we really should win most of those games, so i aint worried at all.

Also why on earth do Ramsgate hate us so much?

I dont think Ramsgate hate Margate at all..Its just a few people that sadly try to stir things up. I'm glad Ramsgate are doing well.If Margate do well they will get people from Ramsgate coming to the matches in big numbers..They always have when they do well.
