Lee Prothroe

I am Spartacus

Recommended Posts

There seems a lot of talk about Lee. Well last night The rumours were flying around he was at Wivenhoe,he was at Canvey. Lets say just that both were true because he is injured and he scouting was at the Canvey v Wivenhoe match. Makes sense now does it not!

Oh and if anyone is interested Wivenhoe won 3-1.

I think this just a case of certain people wanting to stir things up and, until the true facts are known we should keep our mouths shut.

In fairness, I think people were concerned about his absence from the team. And with no confirmation about injury / scouting mission from official sources (which doesn't present me with a problem), then people will aks questions, and my sense is that is all they were doing.

He probably threw his shirt off as knew he & team hadn't performed. What sort of news do you want then Steve, why he threw shirt off? I for one leave it to the management team, directors and players to sort any problems that occur on and off the pitch which is the way it should be in my book.

SSS not being funny but whatever the problem I'm sure Trotty and Mike have done the best they can for the club whatever the situation is. I hope they continue to do this. Sometimes its better to be positive and focus on the team thats out there and just accept that not all info will reach us if its sensitive as this might have an adverse affect and not help anyone? I know nothing but assume Proths has been carrying an injury.

More to the point, Ivanhoe are no mugs then if they can beat Canvey.

Whilst their resources were depleted, Canvey were a conference national set up last season, so that was a strong effort from Ivanhoe.

Good job that Lee was watching them(hope he did not leave before the end and miss the vital bits !!!!)

As posted elsewhere, the triangle of Oates,Saunders and Pinnock was magic on the right, but we did not have the same on the left flank, where we were a bit average last night.

Standen and Mckimm played well in central midfield though

We looked ok on the left, Jimmy was clearly not as moblie as usual and Skinns was having to do a lot of work defensivly. I was very impressed by Deano in the midfield, never stopped battling all game and gave Macca more space to get foward.
