i think the problem with the witham trip is that it was at the end of the month where people are skint,i think it was a one off and shouldn't put us off having a coach in future,ie saturday

ok,we only had about 20 odd on there but those 20 odd pretty much get the coach every away game and obviously there were a few missing because of prior engagements.I think we would of had good numbers for waltham abbey even though it is closer

Whhooooaaa – hang on a minute there lads. I fully commend your efforts in beginning to fill what is surely the first of many coaches for the Boxing Day away trip…..but I'd like to understand how you can justify your positions to travel when you are not yet in receipt of all accommodation facts. By your actions you are declaring that you're genuine footy fans with a desire to spectate at a hopefully eventful local-derby-festive-clash.

 

I've never encountered such down-to-earth decision making – its really refreshing and honest…………..Every other footy fan I know base's his / her decision on facts way more important than merely the fixture; like where you gonna stand and communication channels between the prawn sarnies. now with regard to your comments above I am regretfully the bearer of bad tidings and have to explain to you the earth shattering news that the forum urchins represent maybe 30 souls amongst a hard core of 500....and although I do understand your most commendable ... 'I'm alright jack and bollox to everyone else type of approach'....we do sometimes have to take others into consideration...they are when all said and done valuable customers that pay the wages are they not... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

now as hard as you will find this to understand from your 'virtual reality' and vertigo inducing lofty perch of self righteousness.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />...the fact remains that unless the right accomodation is offered to our 'tartan blankets'...ie cover and seating..

they simply will not travel...

Always nice to be here Unc, jusat cruising by in my lunch break.

"HArd Core 500"; "wont travel unless right accomodation"....I would suggest these 2 factors are almost mutually exclusive amoung non league folk - my opinions only of course, funnily enough though alinged with the Hx boys who've already booked their coach ticket. (Genuine Fans)

As I've said theres no way I cant comment on behalf of Canvey FC as I am only connected in capacity as a fan - but I still think this is a smoke n mirrors discussion as a contingency in case of 'away' attendance being a little less than you'd hope for......get your excuses in early, its a fantastic strategy. You can't lose -brilliant.
