abingdon 2 wefc 2

possibly one of our worst performances and i think we can count ourselves both lucky and very unlucky at the same time.

although we were poor we did take the lead with a minute to go, but defended poorly to concede the penalty but with that long to go we should have held out for the win.

chennels was one of the few who stood out, and he deserved his 2 goals. other than that theres not to much else to say.

theres no spark in the team.they have lost the urgency,no leader.other than Will the back three just kept pumpimg high balls into Chennels when his strength is pace. Casey needs matches as he looks rusty.Coyne tries and tries,Edge final ball is poor but gives his all and was unlucky to be subdcould have been one of 9 poor marking from throw on two unmarked at back post WEFC panic, then started rushing about loosing shape and direction. bring back Varga

poor day at office will need to improve to even make the playoffs.

Good day out, poor game for 70 mins and then we got going. Brillaint celebration by us behind the goal with the 'charge!'

Anyone able to tell me what i did after we left that Irish Pub in Oxford as i don't have a clue! All i can remeber is annoying some poor lass on the train and a sleep on the train station in Slough...

the game really dissapointed me yesterday. too many times do we just smash the ball forward, the midfield time and again wanted the ball but it was just lumped forward especially from both full backs. chennels and coyne were the only 2 that looked interested in 2nd half. Big blow to have lost dolan as cook is just not in the same quality.

We really need to start winning again and i expect Mr Lane to shake it up for yhe next game, too many are just not playing well enough.

trouble being some of the squad have not played full 45 min in weeks so Simon cant expect them to perform any worse than the team on sat. Omar has gone, Cahill has bad injury,Tanaz played for 3 min last week.Ian going to Aussie for xmas and NY,Conners in then out,Varga not considered having missed a week ill,Ben really missed on sat,Furmage not on bench some weeks,Cook not quick enough,Ricci out with injury, no reserve games for runouts so things are not as good as we would hope. Rotation might not be a bad thing . With all the rain today cant see the game being played.

Didn't i point out after we lost to Bashley that this team as talented as it is, are not the finished article?

To all those who gave me the grief for saying so here's a nice big thick slice of Humble Pie... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/birthday.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smash.gif" alt="" />

Rather disappointing display on Saturday. For the first time this season I think I can honestly say there seemed to be something missing. To take the lead with only seconds to go and still draw is always disappointing but in truth we didn't deserve to win, in fact we probably didn't deserve a point.

Good day out nevertheless.

Wood-dog, After the Irish pub we frequented several establishments before nearly getting thrown out of Oxford station for having a mass bundle on the platform! We went for a pint in the Walkabout in Reading, I think you stayed on the train and went straight home (I hope you made it)

Light Weights!

We didn't deserve anything. Very poor display but having said that we are still in a good position and can make the playoffs. We are just going through a bad patch.

I agree Cook doesn't look good but if he had a run of a few games in the side he could improve.

Is the Marlow game gonna be on as the BBC say its gonna rain all week. Also the slough game was postponed. Was that to do with the pitch or their finances.

The game is on at the moment but don't hold your breath.

On Friday the pitch looked fine, but due to the frost drawing the water to the surface of the pitch it looked a lot worse on Saturday morning than Friday afternoon.
