i think the score will be 5-1, cos the lads will be up for it cos of what they did down at our place, i hope jeff can find a place in the team for bertie.

I'd go for our second-half line-up at Heybridge, with probably: Rudi, Potter, Berquez, Crow & Protheroe, (if all fit) on the bench. If Proths & Rudi are still carrying injuries then I suppose Michael Lee & Parms will fill in for them.

 

4 - 2 to the Gulls, and remember there's no extra time if it's a draw at 90mins like it usually is at their place!

 

Let's just hope Bertie continues with his generous attitude if he's playing tonight!

Rudi won't be playing. We were talking to Jeff on Saturday and he said that the lad has broken a toe and will be out for a few weeks.

Just been having a chat with a mate of mine who's playing for BS at the moment. He gives them no chance and says he can't see them staying up. I wished him all the best from Canvey fans (starting from tomorrow of course!!!!!)

They are also less than optomistic on their forum

So that explains why I saw Rudi shopping in Canvey with his wife last Thursday. He's got plenty of time to sample the delights of Canvey whilst he rests that injury!

 

As for tonight's game as I said in a previous thread, I think we'll win 3-1. This is very much a grudge match after what happened at the Lane so the lads will be pumped up for this one.

 

Will be interesting to see if Bertie gets a starting place after his impressive second half performance on Saturday.
