Hi,

 

As you no doubt know, we have had various issues over the last few weeks.

 

Whilst I have still not got to the bottom of who is causing this, I need to do some work on the database, to repair some of the damage caused. The only way I can do this is to close the site for the duration. This work will make the site a lot more stable.

 

At this stage I do not know how long this closure will last, but I expect it to be a couple of hours at least. It may be less, but I would rather err on the side of caution.

 

I can only apologise for the disruption, but am confident that I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I am going to do some more extensive work on the server / database - so the closure may well extend into the early hours.

That was a lot quicker than I expected - hopefully you may also find the forums a bit quicker. Although that obviously depends upon how many are online.

Ian I have been unable to access the Gravesend & Northfleet forum. Do you know if there is a problem with the site. Able to access other forums, no problem. Bill Kent

I have reset your user group - let me know if this solves the issue - if not I will investigate further.
