Saints on the telly

Just heard from someone at work that there was a bit on Oakesy on a local BBC news programme this week, a sort of 'how the mighty have fallen' type thing. It was only on Look East or whatever it is called and showed clips from the Enfield home game.

Anyone else see it?

As i live in Hemel Hempstead, i can admit i used to watch Saints matches on the old Telewest analogue, there was a local channel, which had a weekly sport programme concentrating on the saints. Had some weirdo doing the commentary who kept shouting "heres Saints number 4, the referee has given a free kick.........oh no he hasnt........yes he has!" didnt know what he was goin on about most the time!!!

 

Now that we have NTL, and its gone digital, the channel is no more. Shame cause it would have been nice to see you put 5 past Canvey and Aldershot.

I think it was normally the ref that didn't know what he was doing, I think I may of been right! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
