Who will be???

Who will be the top goalscorer in the ryman prem next season???

After seeing the two hornchurch lads parker & lee progress this season and hearing about the signing of Harry Elms today i think hornchurch will have a potent strike force capable of scoring goals against any opposition.I predict kris lee to be top scorer in the league!

You'll have to get past his [****!!****] agent first mad He's had many clubs look at him at the end of the season cos of his record UM. Trouble is he's 27 and they aren't interested, though he is lithe and looks 21. He wants full time footy and isn't getting the offers so i'm hoping he'll stay. smile

it can be a big gamble for league clubs or full time conference clubs to sign a player from the ryman prem who is that age, usually players fulfill their potential or playing level before this age,it is a big step up frm ryman prem to full time football but if a player is young enough they usually have a sell on value should they not fulfill their promise,at 27 it is a big gamble and one that a team could lose money on

Exactly UM. Kick his agent for filling his head with impossible dreams frown He could possibly do a job at Connie/S for a season or two. But i think far better for him to be a big fish in our little pond and enjoy the rewards. Equal top scorer with Danny Hockton of Margate this season smile

He'd had a couple of offers from fellow RPrem clubs mid season, that would have been profitable both ways, but he didnt' want to move sideways.

He's got the same problem as Main, UM smile

Both excellent at this level. Age is against them. Funnily enough very different players. Build = Main is slight. Hockton beefy. Both can turn on a ball. Main uses speed and dexterity, and Hockton looks for the cross. Mind you, i was well impressed with his strength and brain on the ball. Strange, i don't think they'd fit into the same team... smile

Imagine UM, Angels with no Jon Main frown We were called a 'one man team' last season, and to a certain extent that is right. We'd been newly promoted and were looking to just stay up. Our Manager took a risk on this 'lad' the previous season. He did nothing until it counted. I remember groaning loudly when we had a player sent off and he was on his own up front...I was made to eat my words grin Once he started, he just couldn't stop! yay

Thanks to the Urchins for the mainstay of our team. Scottie Gooding - Wow what a player! Kember, Kinch, Razor. All on contract ready for next season. Signed Storey from Eastbourne last week too, so are building for our push to keep you from the top slot grin
