No, you got it right first time!! I knew he was in KLF, just wasn't sure if his book was autobiographical, or a novel.

The burning £1m, there was a story locally round here, where an annonymous had burned a hell of a lot of money, must have been a few years ago now, wonder if they're linked, there can't be too many people who go around burning a million quid.

 

On a completely different note, three books I'd thoroughly recommend are 'Power of One' and 'Tandia' by Bryce Courtney and 'The Beach' by Alex Garland (the book is 100 times better than the film). Anyone read any of these??

You can't have a yank playing the role of an Englishman, they're two totally different creatures, I thought Robert Carlyle was quite good in it though, but they missed so many good bits of the plot I just ended up laughing at the film.

the band was Mansun I think (taxloss), and 'The Beach' is a quality read( not seen the film-i'm not that keen on movies)

High Fidelity is a quality book. Also recommend 'Glue' by Irvine Welsh if you can get past the fact it's writen in 'Scottish' and 'Dead Famous' if you can get past the fact it's writen by Ben Elton.
