They won 8-0 last night against Sawbridgeworth Town

16 Year-old striker Ryan Baronet claimed a five goal salvo as the Saints Youth team crushed Sawbridgeworth Town 8-0 in the preliminary round of the FA Youth Cup at Clarence Park last night. Singles from the outstanding Craig Mortimer and substitute Henry Frimpong along with a Tasar Hassan penalty completed the rout. Coach, Steve Castle, was delighted with the teams achievement which was remarkable given that their course at Oaklands College began just three weeks ago, and this was their first match together. Ritchie Hanlon, who was watching from the stands, was also impressed by the team as a whole but also noted several individual performances. The young Saints now face Leverstock Green in the 1st Qualifying Round at Clarence Park in two weeks time.
