I use to live in the same 'digs' as one of Brentfords groundsmen. Remember his name was Alex or Alec, he used to leave 'X tickets' at the gates, so I got in for nothing.

 

'X tickets' - for areas of the ground with an obstructed view.

 

Couldn't see the point of them really, Griffin Park had terracing back then, '79 and all you had to do was move to a better area.
