A word of warning if you are contemplating going to the away game at Canvey next season. They have just announced, cool as you like, their new admission prices - £9 and £7 for OAPs, I'm not kidding. Any comments?

Canvey are more generous than us when it comes to accompanied juniors (U16): £10 for 1, £11 for 2 compared to £11 for 1 and £13 for 2. Rather odd decision about no standing season ticket holders though, how do they prevent them from standing on the terraces if they don't want to go in the stand?

Hi Rob.

Professional Stewards of high calibre?

[If so, they must be replacing the existing people.]

Nine pounds is about what it would cost for two weeks in one of Mr King's caravan sites, so on that basis it's reasonable; however, as most people from Canvey are unemployed or work in seaside-based industries such as Candy Floss manufacture or retail, how can they afford it?
