First quality signing of the summer, more to follow over the next week or so..

Excellent work by Batchy to secure such a player.

Has a good goalscoring record and played well against us in the play-off with AFC Sudbury, i'm sure he will do well for us.

Wish we had the cash to throw around. We don't do big wages..

Its the sign of the times players that wanted higher wages are now having to except less cash.

A big factor was that he wants to play for the club..

I don't have a clue how much people are paid at Canvey or clubs in general but Rowe certainly comes with high priced reputation and according to this report we have paid an undisclosed fee bigshock

After knowing what he wanted last year when he was on the way out at Sudbury, and also at the start of this season when he was whoring himself out to all and sundry, it's dough...

Simple as...

That aside, top player...

Our club paying a fee for a player just isn't going to happen.!

From what i understand the lad bought himself out if his own contract at Leiston so that he could sign for the club.!

He wanted to sign for us at the start of last season but his wages were a problem, this time round they fit within the clubs wage bracket.

Like i say players are having to be realistic in the current climate when it comes to there wage demands.

Naughty naughty shedders !

Why would our players want to leave a club on the up for a club in decline ?

Word is that you will be signing a Central Defender/Midfielder to replace the one on the way out...
