I see, according to that esteemed publication, the NLP, there are due to be 18 Full Time Teams next season in the Conference.

On the basis that the 3 promoted teams (if there are 3) will be part time, does that mean we would be the only other part timers?? Somehow I think the NLP have done their usual thing and not let facts get in the way of a good story !!

It's likely that both Canvey and Weymouth if they come up will go full-time.

So, us, FGR, Margate & Tamworth stay Prt Time - I assume thats the assumption. (or Leigh/ Northwich/Farnborough, if they survive rather than the aforementioned)?

Seeing as the part-time teams normally fill the majority of the lower positions in the league table, we may need to become full-time sooner rather than later.

I tried to do my bit but the wrong six numbers came out on Wednesday night!

Well, Jeff King will have to keep on digging deep into his pockets to keep his side full-time, given that they usually only get 600/700 attendances at home, compared to the 1500 enjoyed by Crawley and Weymouth in the Southern Premier.

Surely there will be a surplus of Conf standard players who don't want to go full time because they wish to continue with their other careers.

The only problem can be with those players is where they live, and how far they are willing to travel for practice and games.
