Shrews won 5-3 on pens and Aldershot 4-2 on penalties.

The only goal in todays games was Rodgers penalty for Shrews - so 4 of the 6 goals in the 4 play off semis were penalties.

Not sure who I want to go up now - Dont really want Shrews to go back up, gloating over us all, but on the other hand, dont want to lose a local game against the Shots.

Good luck to the Shots. Yeah, we lose a localish game but it'd be good to see an ex-Ryman and part-time (ish) side in the League.

Never thought I'd've said that four years ago!!

I'd be a bit p*ssed off if my team finished second...21 points above the 5th place team....and still didn't go up.....

Entertaining for the neutral I suppose.....although I wanted Barnet & Hereford to win today....

...that's life Esther !!

Cheers,

Hope the 'Sh*ts' do it, as the local? team.

Wonder how the League will take to playing Aldersh*t time.

I see Chris Giles scored one of the penalties in the shoot out.

Yet another ex-Fleet player with the prospect of League football.

Just wonder if Aldersh*t can survive in the Pro-League or is it one step to far.

According to the Nationwide results page, it is Hereford and Shrewsbury who go through on away goals...
