So if any of you lot ever drunk drove (I bet you have, even if you were a tiny bit over the limit) and you got nicked and caused a death you'll be straight into work Monday morning with your resignation, bollox would you! Double Standards mate.

And Hughes has been crap for a couple of seasons amyway, don't think he even played much after the incident.

Sorry, i thought West Ham finished 3rd <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

If I had killed someone through drink driving efm, I sure as hell wouldn't run away and hide for 36 hours, then when arrested deny it, then go into work & starting laughing and joking and celebrating with my workmates like that filth hughes did!

In fact, any decent company may well suspend you with full pay until the outcome of the incident due to the seriousness of it!

I'm pretty sure my contract would be terminated if I were to kill somebody like that.

Were you in the West Brom changing room that day then when everybody was laughing and joking then?

Why suspend him, he was pleading not guilty. I agree he shouldn't have run away. Reminds me a bit of another 1st division footballer who has walked into a police station with a soliciter this week after vanishing for a while, any idea who that is?

I could of gone to prison a couple of years ago for possession of a class A drug but I didn't quit or ask to be suspended.

efm, he was on the pitch celebrating scoring, enjoying himself!
Could you do that knowing what you'd done?
Don't forget he even denied doing it, I mean, how low is that, utter coward!

Who you talking about? Repka? What sort of comparrison is that?

Maybe he didn't do it, there are many innocent people in prisons. I got the impression that he was covering for somebody, he as good as admitted that in court.
Nobody likes a grass.

Repka, that's the fellow, harrassing somebody from Hornchurch, not you is it?

No not me efm, wouldn't wanna be the bloke he's doing it too, allegedly!

hughes was allegedly covering up for his wife, who if you believe the stories was the one who picked him up from the scene of the crime.

Nah, I know what Thornsy's like.

He doesn't bother posting unless it's to try and wind someone up!

Usually it's that Ricay bunch, though!!
