Just spoken to the Echo (fame at last!). One of the questions asked was, would Billericay fans go to Basildon and is there any opposition to the plans? I think I answered the questions 'diplomatically'. But with-out any matches it's hard to gauge the ground-swell opinion. What do people think?

Hell Yeah! i'd follow 'ricay to bas. I don't see why I should miss out on seeing 'ricay and going to the brand spanking new standium just because it's at basildon I think that anyone who can make the journey to basildon and doesn't isn't a real supporter.

Probably, but then alot can change in 2 years (or however long it takes). Depends on what the new place is like.

Basildon is quicker to get to from Swindon than Billericay images/icons/wink.gif" border="0 Not that i'll be living in Swindon for much longer
Seriously, I'll go for as the club remains Billericay Town which I hope will be forever!

We norwegians will probably still hang around too!
Travelling from Norway it really doesn't matter where the ground is...but do we have to take another train or a bus from Billericay? Don't know much about Basildon.
One thing is for sure: I'll miss the nice, intimate and cozy atmosphere of New Lodge!
Per-Helge
