Adam Miller

Is he going to get away with his childish, crowd inciting antics? This is the worst behaviour of its kind that I've seen in thirty years of watching football. Action needs to be taken by Aldershot or if not at a higher level. Pity he can't follow the example of Liam Hatch who took stick in good humour and if I remember correctly appauled Fleet Fans at the end of the away game last year. He earned my respect, Millers' actions will last in the memory for the wrong reasons

Hmm! I'd have thought that was something little Adam needed to do, Mr Anonymous. Twice he's behaved like that now. I still remember the terrfic goal he scored for us during his brief stay & he is a player with real talent. A pity he lets his immature side get the better of him.

On another note, I take it that none of our fans were foolhardy enough to go by train last night & ran into those idiots, pretending to be Shots supporters, who hang around the station after Aldershot home games. See attachment for photo of this peculiar breed.

Yeah but Liam made up for it this season, ask Shears!

There were a few of us on the train, but no trouble as far as I could see. But then again, we did take refuge in a local hostelry until a few minutes before the train was due.

Pretty accurate reflection of a sad necessity of life. I work in South East London & if I'm coming home after dark, I don't even contemplate spending more than 5 minutes on a railway platform. The pubs close to Woolwich Arsenal & Abbey Wood stations might not be the most trouble-free in the world, but give me an aggressive drunk over a pack of adolescent pikies, high on God knows what, any day of the week.

As for UG's photo, at last proof of what I've always maintained: negroid, caucasian, mongoloid ... it's all bunk. Essentially, despite superficial differences, we've all been the same species of hominid since the Cro-Magnons absorbed the Neanderthals some 40,000 years ago.

Well, not quite. Except for the chavs. They really are a throwback to some awful mistake of human evolution which would have long disappeared if modern science hadn't interfered with good old natural selection.

I've just spoken to Roly who told me that Adam went up to him in the bar and apologised to him for his behaviour. He said that he did it in the heat of the moment and that the Gravesend fans did not deserve to be treated that way.

Roly hadn't seen the incident and didn't know what he was talking about

whilst not wishing to condone adam's antics i find it difficult to believe this was 'the worst thing you had witnessed in thirty years of watching football'?! i stand in the east bank so didn't see the incident on the night but i have seen the footage on the 'conferencefootball' website and, while obviously inflammatory and misjudged, there are far worse crimes that can and have been committed on the football pitch.

i feel there has been a major over-reaction to this incident from a few G&N fans.

and all those of you promising to 'give him stick' at your place, my advice is... do just that, he'll love it!!

best of luck for the rest of the season (ours and adam's visits excluded of course!)

True, Barley (Ben Walshe's haircut was a worse crime as I recall), but as it's the second time Miller's done it to us - having done the exact same thing when at Canvey - it's not surprising a few of us felt sore... particularly as we lost in the last minute!

Oh well, water under the bridge... until the home game!
