Ex Premiership

Recommended Posts

There's an endless list of Premiership players now in the non-league. In the past at Canvey we've had Julian Dicks, Jason Dozzell, Paul Williams, David Kerslake, Adam Tanner, and I think Boylan and JK have made appearances. I'm sure there's more.

There have been some fairly high profile players who have gone from Premiership to Non-League. Here's a few I can think of:

Neville Southall (Everton to Dagenham)

Mark Stein (Chelsea to Dagenham)

Justin Edinburgh (Spurs to Billericay)

Lee Sharpe (Man Utd to Garforth Town)

Bontcho Guentchev (Ipswich to Hendon)

Peter Fear (Wimbledon to Crawley)

Matt Le Tissier (Southampton to Eastleigh)

Lionel Perez (Newcastle Utd to Enfield)

Lionel Perez played for Sunderland, not Newcastle.

All the following played for clubs while they were Premier League clubs.

That t*at Tony Roberts played for QPR when they were in the Premier League.

Scott Hiley - (Exeter City) played for Manchester City and Southampton.

Justin Skinner and Manny Omoyinmi - (Gravesend) played for Wimbledon and West Ham respectively.

Jamie Stuart - (Grays Athletic) played for Charlton Athletic.

Jason Blunt and Steven Haslam - (Halifax Town) played for Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday respectively.

Kidderminster players Iyseden Christie and Terry Fleming played for Coventry in the top flight while Adam Chambers and Mark Jackson - played for WBA and Leeds respectively.

Tony Hackworth - (Scarborough) played for Leeds.

Paul Robinson - (York City) played for Newcastle.
