listen old chap...you are making a fool of yourself here...there were two other admins on line as I deleted the abusive posts just after 7 o'clock...there were also several users who were privvy to them...I also consulted with admin 2 before hitting the button to ban the poster...

 

your involvement in this matter does you little justice and neither do your posts on the subject....

Steve asked why he could not post and I offered him a reason. I suggest the posts aimed at a players family never existed. I have no proof they did. If you wish to prove us wrong please do otherwise i am entitled to my opinion "old bean"

RF, imagine an entirely theoretical scenario whereby your mate is getting a right old bashing on the Isthmian forum. Too many people are getting close to the truth, that sort of thing. The basher uses AOL, and therefore it is difficult to trace him or her.

 

So how do you stop him or her? Well, you could create a phantom set of vile posts and use their equally phantom deletion as a basis to ban all AOL uses. Hey presto!

Why so many posts?

 

Usually i post on the Isthmian board but some fool banned us.

 

Anyway....riveting stuff on there.

 

Three or four posters are taking up the campaign to free the aol posters and apart from that and the Stone fans going on and on and on about Beckford there is nothing on there. The forum has died and UU has blood on his hands.

As to young RF - fortunately, we are all able, on this site, to come and go as we please (well at least until Ian makes you an administrator on here!)

 

I have enjoyed my brief exchanges this afternoon with RF. He seems a personable enough fellow. Polite and astute.

 

As you know, I am just a humble visitor to your Isthmian Fans Forum Empire, but do share RF’s regret at the decision to ban some of the contributors.

Though a fan of a conference south team, I often view this forum but rarely post on it.

 

Having looked at what UU has done I think that we should be grateful for him removing some of the stuff that he does, as it keeps the forum in football mode. If nobody moderates this with a firm hand it will have to go registration only or things will end up in the hands of solicitors.
