Hastings game and twitter

Hi

Just wondering why there are no posts about today's game. I couldn't get to it, so signed up to TWITTER but heard nothing. I assumed as I heard nothing that it must have been a nil nil draw. Very pleased to see that I was wrong. Does Twitter work? How was the game?

Looking forward to Boxing Day and another win.

Andy

I used Twitter for the first time today for text updates and it was excellent - a remninder before the game that texts would be forthcoming, full team news at 5 to 3, HT score (0-0) then BWG's goal, then FT confirmation. Gazza you're FIRED !!! LOL

Can't remember exactly how you sign up but got to one of Finistere's posts and the instructions are his signature message!

Twitter isn't perfect, and sometimes messages do go astray. I'm signed up for the Chelmsford one, and all I got yesterday was the pre-match reminder and no others (whereas my other half got every text from them).

That said, it generally works well I believe.

Maybe it takes a while to process your registration fully, and 'cos you signed up on the day you were a little late.

Persevere if possible. I think it's quite a neat system, even if I do say so myself.

P.S. You can always double check what messages have been sent at http://twitter.com/btfc which is GUARANTEED to be up-to-date.
