After Clapton Res arrived late while getting lost on a big hill in Benfleet, accompanied by their comedy gaffer they were put to the sword by an energetic Concord side, the forward line being led by the impressive Jimmy Webb, and the superfit Matt Crumbie, and the home defence being marshalled by Sean Stannard returning from a serious tummyache, and the vocal Michael Collier in between the sticks.

 

Concord scored in the opening minutes of the game whilst GB was still emerging from the dressing room so no idea who scored....

 

Clapton were being re-assured throught the game by their gaffer who came up with such motivational diamonds as ''shut ya maat, ya [****!!****]'' and ''Douglas, move ya black ass''

 

Concord raced into a 3 goal lead at half time, Jimmy Webb left the Clapton left back with blood in is shorts after he raped him for his second, beating him to along ball into the corner after the LB had 20 yards on him, cut inside and struck a left foot shot into the top corner from a narrow angle.

 

An unsteady period after half time let Clapton back into the game, but the game was put to bed after Ash Knott put Jimmy Webb into the clear and he chipped the keeper from 20 yards to seal the win.

 

A good all round perormance,and a home game against Great Wakering Rovers on Tuesday, gives the players a chance to impress any watching management before the Cup Final next weekend.

went to CM after Ewers got s/o. after my shocker against Bas was surprised to get on at al tbh.

Dunno, Ewers pushed someone, but Clapton CB did the same earlier and nothing happened, ref was not too good, looked like Minty off Eastenders....
