The danger of MyFC @ Wembley

Recommended Posts

Having read various posts commenting on how many thousand people are going from Gravesham and MyFC, a thought occurred to me. If there are indeed several thousand MyFCers going, many could be in for a massive shock. There is a stark difference between watching brief highlights packages or listening to radio commentary and actually watching 90 minutes of live football. While the former two are both selective with information (putting emphasis on good chances and exciting passages of play), 90 minutes of football could be a reality check for many MyFCers unaware of the standard of football at this level.

Non-league football is a niche market, unlike Premier League football with its swift passing and famous players. Once the realisation that non-league football is actually quite poor in comparison hits home, I fear an exodus of MyFCers who don't want to pay
