right then thats the play offs sorted and now two wins next week could nick us the runners up spot...

 

first half pretty even and 1-1 at the break with greeny heading the equaliser on the 45 minute mark...the story of the game tho' is that we were awesome in defence today in the face of a desperate full bloodied angels second half onslaught as they battled for the win that would keep them in contention but it wasn't to be for them as our three centre backs restricted them to perhaps half a dozen half chances...in fact it was simon parker who had the best chance of the game in the 91st minute but he skewed wide from 10 yards with the goal at his mercy...

 

excellent officials today also and a ref that let the game flow without constant interference...

 

great day out and a superb crowd of 800ish who set about each other from opposite ends of the pitch in good natured song and banter...well done both sets of fans and many thanks to the TA people for looking after us all...

 

well done colin and the boyseys....folkestone next up monday night..can I hear an anguished wailing from sw19....
