David Allen is a very able defender, yes he may lack a quality first touch but his main objective is to defend.

Lets face it if the first touches on any player at this level was better then so would the standard of football they'd be playing.

I don't think Dave is anywhere near match fit, as his first touch showed yesterday. Even if he were, I'd be surprised if that was the starting centre back pairing!
