Indeed it was 3-0. As you say, the lad's never gave up trying, and the other positive was there were good performances all over the pitch from our lads, despite having lost. At the end of the day, I have to say I think we were beaten by the better side, just, and you certainly couldn't begrudge Stanway three very good goals, the third of which involved an excellent arial acrobatic technique, almost like a mid-air scissor kick! I much prefer to loose to a better side, having got this far, rather than the situation of having to be honest too, and say we didn't deserve to loose!

 

Very well done lads, congratulations on getting that far, on a different day, I think we could beat Stanway, but today it wasn't to be. Well done too, for accepting the defeat like men. We do still have progression, hopefully, in two other cups to look forward to, and the fight for the League too, so it's far from gloomy lad's, let's go for it!!
