Hempstead Gaz
It's just a crap scaremongering story, Karl. 1. Noboby has ever heard of this bloke or seen him at the ground. 2. The headline "FANS" relates to 1 old bloke. That gives a fair clue to it really being a non story.
Uncle Urchin
and your reply gives credence to the contempt that a few die hard fans at ebbs have for the future of the club and any that try to help.... it matters little what you say about the reporter...its in the paper ffs and on the net and the old fan has been there for 50 years....no wonder BK bailed out and left you lot to your own fate....fck me I would have been gone 5 years ago... you need to look for the wood in the trees gary... ronks41
Hope you dont mind me coming in..........What a damn shame that its all come to this.If someone had told me e few years ago that Ebbsfleet would be anywhere near this situation I would have laughed......not even smiling at the moment. Its a bloody travesty. Is there still uncertainty re Daishy staying or is that all media hype too.....? Sorry to appear so ignorant of whats going on. Have had my own issues to resolve lately. kaizen
It's not just the 'fleet who have problems; there's a lot of clubs in perilous financial problems at the moment - just today the BBC's reporting the potential winding up of Merthyr Tydfil. And to back Gary up on this one, we know there's a severe financial problem, but this is a non-story based around the comments of one person; we all have views on what we think is wrong, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's the whole picture. One paragraph doesn't make a novel....
Hempstead Gaz
4/10 Karl. I have alraedy pm'ed Newsshopper to get the lowdown on this guy. Do you believe everything you read in the papers?

Jeff Hamnett TSF
will this go on for ever? come on guys, football down where we are is struggling all over the place. We need someone to play each week, lets find some new ground to argue and banter over?
Bitch
What is the state of play with finding a new ground TSF?
Jeff Hamnett TSF
sorry, no insight there from me b,cos I dont know beyond the papertalk, but we wont see grounds getting built in town centres ever again I guess!
Bitch
It's a sorry decline. For every club's demise there should be another built in it's place... STand for election TSF

Bitch
The world has gone mad TSF and we are all going to hell in a hand cart. If only we'd listened to Richard Littlejohn... I think this coming season will be a huge shocker for clubs, players and all. I'm saddened by the demise of any club. Footy grounds developed for housing... Where will it all end? I have been there a few times AFF.My comment was to do with the proposed development, and Bitch is I think a traditionalist who likes town clubs with grounds with a bit of character. Hempstead Gaz
Town centre grounds are now a waste of space. New housing estates are invariably out of town - that is where ours needs to be. All we need is a new councill that actually supports our plans.
American FLEET FAN No1
If the (majority of the) people of Gravesham gave a damn, maybe the Council would be more interested in the Club.
Hempstead Gaz
Nah - the old council did support us - this one lauded in the glory of the trophy win but have been 'unhelpful' ever since in helping us find a new site.
