Kentish Town have done well to use their 'Get out of Jail' card & I would imagine Holmer Green & Cockfosters are feeling a little bit hard done by.
The Copthall Stadium may have the F grading, but when the pitch was unplayable for large parts of the season it kind of makes a mockery of the whole grading system.

Syd - I was as surprised as anyone to see MK Wanderers re-admitted.

This was how it came about (from the Minutes of the SSMFL Management Committee meeting on 28 May) -

4.3. At this point the Committee considered the likelihood that there would be a vacancy in the constitution [because SLeB looked like being ejected]. Of the other clubs who had applied for membership, they had been advised that following the last meeting there were no vacancies. It was advised that Southill Alexander had consequently applied and been accepted into the Bedfordshire League. This left MK Wanderers and Park View, from whom no further contact had been received. After lengthy consideration, it was also agreed that MK Wanderers, an FA Charter club, be re-admitted following their success in obtaining a 10-year lease for their ground and providing the committee with other necessary assurances. They would be placed in Division Two.

Kentish Town did indeed play their "get out of jail" card. For all their ramping up of the standard of spectator facilities, the FA seem to ignore playing surfaces! Can't be right (and this from a former "groundsman" of Hertingfordbury Park!)

Cockfosters were hit by a double whammy, for, apart from the issue with Kentish Town, they went down because TWO clubs were relegated down into the SSMFL Premier.

And really tough on the managers/playing staff at Kings Langley - finish in a promotion spot and get relegated!
