SSML Constitution 09/10

Recommended Posts

Folks - I have it on good authority that the SSML's proposed constitution for next season has surprisingly still not been cleared by the Football Association, I gather there is a further meeting tomorrow to hopefully ratify it. I wonder what the hold up can be.

Jonno - Really, it it relating to Kentish Town by any chance, on one hand they have the groundgrading if they have somehow managed to swing playing at the Copthall Stadium again next season yet they finished rock bottom and were docked eleven points for serious irregularities so it's a bit of a dilemma isn't it.

I think I know what the hold up is but I have no proof or evidence to back it up, so rather than mouth off about it I'll keep it under my hat, ta very much!

Scottie DTFC - So what was the decision made, did you show the guilty individual the door of Creasey Park. I see there's an article on the Non League Today Website confirming Dunstable Town's relegation to the SSML however I wasn't aware that the FA had rubber stamped the Constitution as yet and were still dragging their feet:

Good luck to Darren, he is a fine manager and the Club should now start progressing again under his direction.

Anyone noticed that Sport London e Benfica are missing from Div 1?

They don't have a ground, and there will be an Emergency General Meeting at the SSMFL AGM on Saturday 20th to chuck them out if they don't have a suitable ground by then.

Bethnal Green United declined the offer of promotion to the SSMFL.

Horace, what price on MK Wanderers lasting past August this time ?

Kentish Town have done well to use their 'Get out of Jail' card & I would imagine Holmer Green & Cockfosters are feeling a little bit hard done by.

The Copthall Stadium may have the F grading, but when the pitch was unplayable for large parts of the season it kind of makes a mockery of the whole grading system.
