It was a good game last night from Concords point of view, but I was very disapointed with their crowd. I was expecting a very good crowd what with Lowestofts home attendence and the fact that Canveys number 1 team didnt have a fixture. The atmosphere was somewhat missing and I think that Canvey fans actually doubled Concords usual home attendance!!!!! At least we provided a bit of banter!!! Was very impressed with the Concord performance though, Big D looks like a real pro, holding the ball up and very rarely losing possession. Lyle Taylor is possibly the most exciting player I have seen at this level, he is strong, very good on the ball and has an amazing burst of pace. Plays up to the crowd too and had the number 2 in his pocket. Their number 2 by the way has very poor banter, and was easily wound up by us last night. Paul Shaves had a decent enough game but he does show his reckless side too frequently, can see him having his name taken over the coming games.

I would expect both clubs to be playing there football in the Ryman Prem next season.

Looking at Concord recent signing they are obviously throwing some money at it to make sure they make the playoffs at the very least. With the possible restructuring proposals the Ryman North could be alot tougher next season then this with the likes of Bury and Sudbury coming across.

I agree with you Gaffer only just over 200 for a top of the table clash is a pretty poor turnout especially as you say alot of the crowd was made up of Away fans and supporters of Canvey Island FC.

Good result for our Neighbours though.

238 for a top of the table clash, would hardly call that more and more are crossing the road.. :)

In all fairness i really don't see the support of either of our teams changing if we are in the same division. You will pick up abit more away support but to be honest that has been pretty poor apart from Dartford this season.

At least if you come up and BTFC go down we wont have to travel to far over xmas!

Don't worry the urchins will swell your gate on saturday, well maybe anyway, got 40 on the coach but for some reason, many are choosing to make their own way there even if the coach is cheap.

Should have in the region of 100-120 at the game, maybe less maybe more, you just can't tell with our support.

Thats good to hear Buzzardboy, will be nice to see a good away following, fingers crossed we will see a 450ish gate.

Looking forward to having a pint or 2 with our Urchin friends!

Its a big game for both clubs trying to break into those playoffs..

See you Saturday
