Sunday Games.

Absolutely great idea and should probably also allow 1 Friday home match per team as well. Colliers wood and RPV have had Friday matches and their attendances on these matches have been higher than usual which is all great!!

Yeah, good shout J.J. Sunday's could be Family Day,and may get a few younger people involved.Maybe a Club could organise a Sunday Lunch as well, worked well when Croydon Athletic let their younger junior sides, play on the Main Pitch a few years back.Funded the 1st team budget for nearly a year, and made it a Family Club, bar packed every week,Young and Old.

Always perfectly happy to schedule matches for Friday evenings or Sundays where there is mutual agreement. The possibility of Friday matches was mentioned to all clubs pre-season but only Colliers Wood and RP Vale took it up this time round. The option will be there again next season although not sure how many players at CCL level play Sunday football?

Too many if you ask most managers!

I think a Friday / Sunday match is the way forward especially for teams that ground share ..... What with reserves playing home games and the continual annual pile up of fixtures due to the weather it is potentially the way to help the season finish when it should. I know the leagues are quite flexible but at Hampton res we have got games on sat, tues. thur, sat, mon, wed, sat, and with 2morrs game in doubt and also tues game in doubt I really don't envy the fixture secretarys job.

Whitelaw does a fantastic job but it could be helped with a few more add-hoc games on Fridays and Sundays. I know this may mean more work for the groundstaff but hey, isn't that why Nut is about?

Never quite understood why if you are good enough to be a regular in a Saturday side, you'd want to get up early on a Sunday to play with/alongside a load of cloggers!

Totally agree.......early night on Friday as you have a match..Saturday night out with the team get bladderd and get up at mid day for your Sunday roast..

Anyway .....Wot is sunday football..it's an extension of a Saturday night out but in a kit......
