Just seen Croydon Municipal v Worcester Park will get to play their Final of the Lemons Div 1 Challenge Cup at Ashford Town Middx. on Bank Holiday Monday May 3rd.What a treat for both Teams,a long journey at a time when roads are gridlocked,10 other games on that day,so any casual Fans will be at a minimum.Was it worth the effort I ask myself of all them long journeys,to Farnham,Hartley Witney,Eversley at great expense.

I managed to get from Farleigh (from an 11.30 KO) last year over to Ashford for the 3pm final with no bother traffic wise. Hopefully the League games will have an 11.30 KO (which is 12pm Cobham time!!).

1. When does the league appoint a venue for the final.

 

2. Do the league know who is going to be in the final when the venue is being announced.

 

3. If you don't want to get to a final cos you get drawn away from home and it's not in your back garden, don't enter the competion or accept it and be quiet.

4. This is a date that would have been at the end of the season if there hadn't been sooooooo many postponements during the course of it.
