A smashing performance with some slick one touch football all over the park led to a 3-1 win. In the first few minutes the Enfield keeper should have seen red after clipping Pietro when he was through on goal but the ref waved it away, 2nd game on the trot!

Enfield then went on to score the opener. Mark Bitmead levelled after a poor fumble by the Enfield stopper and then Pietro put us in front on 21 minutes,

2-1 at Half time then and Dan Brown got the winner after some superb unselfish work by Kofi about 10 minutes from the end.

Sadly i had to go and pick up the mrs at the station so missed out on the after match drink!

Well done everyone!!!! :D ;)

Fine performance against an Enfield Town team who matched us in an even first half, but we dominated after the break and got the deserved win. Couldn't believe the Enfield Town keeper didn't get sent off for clattering Palla. How did the ref refuse a penalty for that?

Enfield's number 10 took his goal well, but Bits reacted well to tuck home the spooned ball by the keeper, and a lovely feinted shot by Palla for the second. We should have scored more and made it safer quicker, but Dan got the goal his play deserved after Kofi teed him up nicely. Two semi-finals this season, and three wins on the spin. Good work, lads.

We asked the referee after the match why he had not dealt with the early incident, when it looked inevitable that we would be awarded a penalty and the keeper would be going off. His view was that there had not even been a foul.

We made him have a second helping of the Chairman's sausage casserole as a penance!

Thinking about it, as things panned out he did us a favour with the keeper fumbling in front of Bits and then standing like a statue when Dan turned Kofi's pass in.

The minute the chairman demands we have a bit of his sausage, i am outta here!

I thought that, apart from the obvious red card foul, the game was played in very good spirit. Nice to see 'oppo' turn up and play attractive football without resorting to over-physical play and histrionics. You could see why Enfield Town are doing well this season.

On a health and safety note, sorry to ask, but is it worth painting a white line on the step outside the clubhouse or improving the lighting slightly? I only ask due to the pre-match incident when that unfortunate Enfield town follower didn't see the step, fell over and hurt himself.

Bedfont Town are still in this competition, aren't they? Do you think they'll continue or pull out?
