Another Welsh Side Bites The Dust

Recommended Posts

From viewing their forum, it seems that Barry Town (who once played the likes of Porto and Aberdeen in European Competitions) are sadly no more.

Terrible news, used to love the Cwmbran v Barry games as a kid.  Hope that they, like Neath and Llanelli, will be back some day.

Gives a general guide to events at Jenner Park since Stuart Lovering took over.  From Europe and WPL titles to oblivion.

Unlike with Llanelli, reforming a side at Jenner Park will be impossible whilst Lovering is there.  He owns the land/offices but not the pitch (that is maintained by the council).  However, he will not sell the club and one wonders if he is planning to sell it on for housing when the market is stronger?
