Altrincham hope that common sense will prevail, but will it?

I don't think there's an official cut off point although I may easily be wrong. I do remember though that in the 70s Man U had to beat Man City in the last game of the season, and shortly after Dennis Law scored for City the Man U supporters invaded the pitch in an attempt to get the game abandoned and replayed. I think there were about 5 minutes left. Thankfully the FA allowed the score to stand,  and Man U was relegated.

I guess we all remember Man U winning the Champions League about 10 years ago with two goals in injury time, and that's why IMO the match has to be replayed.

As Brackley won in the FA Cup tonight v Gillingham (incidentally, very well done to them!) I would suspect that if they beat Leek Town then the FA Trophy game v Colwyn Bay or Altrincham would be put back as well.
