Premier Division

North Greenford United 1 Potton United 2

Even with new signing Dominic Rhone playing (Ex Hanwell Town and Southall) North Greenford United could not stop the rot. They are in big trouble.

A big win for Potton United.

Hillingdon Borough 1 St Panteleimon 1

A great result for Hillingdon Borough and with top scorer Ash Hunt on the bench as well.

Savagebee - Yes, it sounded a tight affair from the match report, Hillingdon Borough are in a totally false league position aren't they:

A Courtney Austin hatrick. At this level New Salamis have a top player in Austin.

Savagebee - I expected the New Salamis players to down tools after George Georgiou was unceremoniously dismissed by the Club however they don't appear to have done do they:

Surprised to see my team Leighton languishing 2nd bottom without a win. They have another tough looking fixture away at Biggleswade tonight. The squad looks competitive and has some proven talent. Some of the cup results show they are capable as well. The problem is that any league title challenge is now effectively over in early October. Managers do not tend to be given much time at a Bell Close so a few more mad results and I can see Joe Sweeney leaving

Division 2

Mursley United A Buckingham United

It all kicked off at Station Road on Saturday didn't it, here's an interesting interview with Mursley United supremo Jamie Lands following the abandonment on 85 minutes with Mursley leading 3-0:

Should make for a very interesting disciplinary hearing.

I have witnessed a similar occurrence but not quite as bad as that.

Big J R - Was that the so called battle of Bramall Lane, Sheffield United v West Brom in 2002, that game was abandoned too and Mursley v Buckingham Athletic sounded on a par with that

All I'm going to say that it was a CoCo match several seasons ago in my home town.

What was the result of the League disciplinary hearing following the abandonment of the Mursley United and Buckingham United game earlier this month, was the book thrown at the two Club's and will the fixture be replayed or the result stands.
