Nick has led the first team as Manager for almost two seasons helping with the implementation of our youth teams and revolutionising our approach to training and match days through data and technology, The constraints of his buisness expanding coupled with a young family have stretched him since the summer, but Nick is keen to stay involved and help drive the Club forward. His new role will include developing a clear strategic vision that will be used throughout the senior and youth teams, implementing our short, mediun and long-term objectives to ensure the Club remains sustainable and helping us deliver the 3G pitch project. Richard James has stepped down at AFC Welwyn due to commitments outside of the game:

Club News - The Club can confirm that we have accepted resignation from our first team Manager Richard James due to his work commitments taking priority at this time. Richard has left the team in good health with us sitting top of the League which we cannot thank him enough for. Richard will still be involved with the Club supporting in other areas as he has a significant amount of knowledge that will benefit the Club moving forward.
