Thanks Karen, no all SSML ties then thankfully, Hadley v Enfield would be a dream tie drawing a large crowd to Brickfield Lane

I see that, as anticipated, Karen has 'brokered' a deal for Baldock Town and Wisbech Town to lock horns at Hitchin Road on Sunday 5 August:

Not SSML but I see that the short sighted BBC will broadcast the dull looking Lichfield City v Nuneaton Borough tie in the FA Cup First Qualifying Round on Saturday 4 September, what's wrong with Hadley v Enfield for example or Oxhey Jets v Kingstonian where there could well be a huge upset if Savagebee's idol Lewis Putman is on song:

If Chico Ramos's men play like they did at Oxhey Jets on Tuesday evening they could well spring a surprise against Step 3 opposition:

Do we give Flackwell Heath any hope at Step 3 Weston Supper Mare, sorry to steal Karen's thunder but the two sides met in the Third Qualifying Round of the competition in 2014/15 with Weston Super Mare winning 4-1 at Wilks Park and going on to reach the First Round proper:

Great draw for the Jets, 2-2, after such a tumultuous week and with a scratch team featuring only 3 first team regulars.

Mainly and understandably backs to the wall for much of the game, a forgettable first half ended goalless and gave no hint of the drama to come after the break.

The high flying K's went ahead within a minute of the restart, but the imperious Lewis Putman replied with a towering and perfectly placed header soon after.

Midway through the half the disappointing visitors went ahead again but for an even shorter period. Puts posed problems all afternoon despite plowing a lonely farrow, and taking the ball from halfway ran at the defence only to be clearly brought down in the box. A clear pen duly given, but this prompted an ice hockey style brawl, resulting in no less than 5 bookings, four of them to Kingstonian players. Putnam converted, there were scenes, opposing fans gave the ref plenty and we go again on Wednesday.

Amazing performance in any circumstances, and stunning after the events of midweek. Personally it was great to be back, my first live game since the 10-0 win over Colney in November, having had open heart surgery in July.
