A groundhopper from another Forum was in attendance:

Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division - Stotfold 2 Tring Athletic 1 - Admission £3.50 concession - Programme £1.50 - Attendance 196
Top of the table match and it was a decent watch. Stotfold took the lead after 14 minutes when a Jordan Stevenson corner was glanced home at the near post by Mason Spence. Tring equalised seven minutes before the break when a low ball in from the left from George Carbery eventually found Elijah Hearn in the six yard box where he slid the ball past the keeper. The winner came on 52 minutes when a cross was partially cleared to skipper Jack Bradshaw who took one touch to lift the ball up and then half volleyed with his second touch to find the right corner from 20 yards.
First time at the new Roker Park, having been a couple of times to the old ground, and although the pitch was a bit bobbly in places, there wasn’t a problem here with the match ever being in doubt.
