Bradwell continue to batter their way through their huge fixture backlog, and continue to batter anyone who gets in the way of retaining their League title. Mid-table Sarratt weren’t a bad side, they even dominated the opening couple of minutes, but found themselves 2-0 down after eight! Three more in the first fifteen of the second half completed the scoring in what was a very watchable game, played on a patchy surface.
I’ve seen this place from the train hundreds of times but it’s a more pleasant spot than I’d expected. Public land but also a multi sport facility, with the members’ Clubhouse open to all-comers on matchday and, today, Wainwright’s Amber on hand pump. Other than that, just a pitch railed off on three sides and the best dugout in Non-League.
