What a couple of great treats on the STFC website On This Day section today.

In 2014 "an average Slough Town team" (quote from Kettering commentary team) played one of the best halves any Slough team ever has to come back from the dead to win the play off final and promotion.

In 1990 "an average performance from a very talented Slough Town team" (quote from my memories of the day) won a nervy game to clinch promotion to the highest level of non league football for the first time in our history.

Great memories, great days, great achievements.

Certainly the on pitch celebrations at Bromley is one of my all time best moments as a fan!
