Re: Big JR's "Welsh cockle revelation" - in Tesco today, noticed the pots of cockles were from Holland.....but, I go to Leigh on Sea quite regularly and see the artic lorries bound for Holland loaded up with Essex cockles. How much are we paying over the top for cockles which were ours in the first place?

We produce it, ship it to Europe and it's cheaper for us to but it there than it is here ! So why do the Chinese want to live in this country anyway ??
