Slough, I remember a game a lifetime ago way back in the Athenian league when Slough were top and we were near bottom. The conditions were atrocious no game these days would have gone ahead, torrential rain and fork lightning. At one point Hornchurch got a throw in and the player couldn’t see the line and ran several yards into the pitch before throwing the ball, much to the laughter of a drenched crowd. Think this will be hard as well. They look safe to stay up but probably think they need a few more points which makes them dangerous. The away match we were ahead and looking good until their captain (and the best player on the pitch ) scored a screaming free kick and that disrupted us and they took advantage and won the game.
