As for the location for the new training facilities, Wexham Park and Upton Court Park where the rugby club play spring to mind as possibilities.

Wexham Park is South Bucks!!!

Wexham Park may be in Buckinghamshire (there's no such thing as South Bucks anymore), but my understanding is that it's more or less accepted fact that sooner or later it will become Slough when they redraw the boundaries, at which point the owners may sell the land.

Surely going back to Wexham Park in any capacity whatsoever is no longer possible; if it was then surely it would have been preferable to do this rather than move into Arbour Park!

But the other suggestion…

I think the only words mentioned was that the facilities would be in the town.

Perhaps Wexham Park was not an option at the time?

Almost certainly so then and almost certainly so now I'd say! Unless A23 have the money to tempt the owners and do the place up even if only to train on (looking at the (undated) Google satellite image of Wexham Park it looks as though the pitch has been built on)?

And if they have the money to do that, why not move back in completely?

Be interesting what happens if Slough becomes part of the borough of London.

Must say close season and future plans for the club sound very good.

Anything mentioned about making the steps behind the goals steeper.

Well done to all those behind the scenes planning and working on the new projects.

Behind the goals terracing was briefly mentioned and I think was left at they are still looking into it.

Did they mention that the training facilities would be indoor or outdoor & I assume 3/4 G ?

Indoor or outdoor not mentioned but I would imagine it would be 3G.

Also.was there any mention of new sponsors coming on board or current ones renewing for next season?

Expand

No mention of existing or any new sponsors.

actually originally wexham park was built on green belt land with the proviso that only ball sports could be played there and as one half of the ground was controlled by slough borough council and the other by the then south bucks you would have to deal with both councils to get anything done there which is why it is still a sports ground officially as the present owner wanted to sell the ground for development purposes but so far has been thwarted, this is as i remember the facts from the time and as reported in the now defunct evening mail

On the player front:

Bayliss and Prosper will be leaving the club.

There's a good chance Henry and Gilbert will be signing back on.

I think Scott said so far there are 6 players who've committed for next season

And I think Scott said there were a couple of ex players who could be returning.

What ex Slough players could this be that would improve the quality of the side , consider the talent leaving? That have left before  🤔

There's very few that would improve the squad but one player that springs to mind is Tyrese Dyce if he stayed fit.

One that springs to mind is Dyce...... Others that left I can't see returning in MInhas/Eweka etc

I am 99% sure I saw Joe Dandy in the tunnel talking to someone at the Aveley game though........ could also be the lieks of Gabe George or Trae Cook-Appiah
