So we are virtually playing for 3rd spot on Tuesday as Ilford should beat APSA next Saturday when they play in the only game of the ESL that day knowing full well what they have to do to gain 2nd spot.

 

No problem for us. If it's 3rd, then so be it.

Don't under estimate APSA. As you well know, on there day they can be any team in the ESL.

Shut up you bitter Enfield plums. If you finish 3rd it's because thats what you deserve and not because Ilford have been done any favours by the ESL. Always looking to blame someone esle. You might finish 3rd and still get promoted, but no one else is complaining.

Why do ETFC (actually not ETFC there fans is prob the correct thing) think they have divine right's? It beat's me? 2nd 3rd wherever or bottom , finish on merit.....NOT 200 fans every week, blimey get in out of your heads....be fair look at Spurs......nuff said, big club big fan base........er....... In reality you all live in the past EFC days and long to be back there.....welcome once agian to the real world, earn it and get respect don't have 100 people plus and think it's gonna be there cos it ain't.

Cleggy my friend, you got me all wrong. Firstly i've been at the Abbey for over 20 years, so you have obviously got that one wrong.

 

And b I don't bear grudges against anyone. Town have not ruined EFC, Laz did. Which i guess was my point that everyone seems to have forgotten now.

Southport Towner i think you should watch what you post on here. Somethings just shouldn't be said. Insult me or my football team, but when it comes to talking about my recently deceased father i suggest you don't go there.

 

Usually i wouldn't give your response the time of day, but if i ever have to read anything like that again. I will come on down to Brimsdown and tell you personally what i think of you.

 

Banter and insults about football is fine and say what you want to me in that respect it's all water off a ducks back to me, but the thing with these forums is you don't know alot of the people you are talking to. Think before you post your low level insults and then you wouldn't leave some people having a crap start to the week.

Unfortunately he cost us the league and the cup and if it wasn't for the fact the three in front of him played so well so consistently then we'd have the worst goals against record in the league rather than the best.

cheers foxy. we ain't had a bad season really shame we haven't won anything. Too many draws to win the league this year though.

 

I'm sure ST wasn't aware, but lets keep the insults at a football level and not take our non league footy to seriously.

 

Now they know i'm an Ilford player the users on this forum are just going to blank me knowing i ain't a supporter, but just another bored player with too much time on his hands seeing if i can ruffle some feathers.

 

The reason i've got so much time on my hands is because i don't have to work. Ilford pay fortunes (according to this forum) so no need to.

 

How about we have a supporters player of the season. If i get your vote Foxy thats 1 trophy i'm definatly going to bag this year.

Ilford's back three this year have been outstanding this year havin seen the majority of home games. However to blame the young keeper is ludicrous. In the time he has played he has had 6 clean sheets in 9 league games and one of the others was only a penalty. I f i am wrong please find me and correct me, I will be attending the final game of the campaign. He has been carrying a groin injury for weeks 4 weeks I believe as he always seems to have it strapped up.

As for the lad costing ilford the league that is crazy you have to look at players like Ronnie watson missing an open goal against Concord and a header from 3 yards against Sawbridgeworth. Also has anyone noticed how his attitude has upset the players around him. i would be interested to know what the feeling in the dressing room of his arrival was.

Come on lads we will all be behind you for the last game of the season come on you foxes!!!
