League Cup winners, and our opponents in the Ryman Championship match have lost two of the their top three strikers from last season with Lawrence Yaku going to Maidenhead and Steve Hale going to Slough.

Not that I am aware of Steve, I suspect that as it hasn't been set a preseason match, nothing will be done now before the Fixtures for next season are released so that we can see when it can be fitted in.

Excuse the picture of Paul Barrowcliff on Nev's profile.....

 

Last we'd heard over here was that your guv'nor had spoken with him and Steve Browne was not confident on keeping him at the club as he was playing well below his level. Very good at our level, but having played in the Conference before with Stevenage, I think he struggled to make an impression.

 

Still if he does join, a very good acquisition which no doubt will be on a free transfer across to you.

Well we've not heard anything at this end, but we don't usually hear until the ink is actually dry on the paper.

 

Sounds a useful acquisition though.
